Civil Protection Law
In accordance with the Armed Attack Situation Response Law, the government takes the lead in implementing emergency measures such as evacuation of residents, rescue of evacuees and response to disasters caused by attacks. Five coastal shipping companies, including Imoto Lines, have been designated as designated public institutions. In the event of an emergency, the coastal shipping industry takes prompt action to cooperate with the government to ensure the safety of the people and the nation.
The Act on Special Measures for Pandemic Influenza and New Infectious Diseases Preparedness and Response
It is a mechanism to protect the lives and health of the people of Japan and minimize the impact on the lives of the people and the national economy by strengthening measures against new infectious diseases that could spread rapidly nationwide. As a designated public institution, we are responsible for securing logistics and transporting emergency materials in the event of an emergency.
